First blog entry

Well, I thought I'd join the world of blogging, get with the new age, out of the stone-age... not sure who wants to read my thoughts, random as they may be, but THIS is my first entry. I'm waiting on one of my momma's to begin her labor, so I'm in "on-call" mode...trying to nap every day, stay on top of things. Not so easy since we just experienced the worst storm in over 30 years. We had some major flooding from both the window-wells of the basement and from coming in the vents on the roof. Still doing wet laundry and finding new places of where water came in and it's been several days. Tore up the carpet and am waiting on the insurance man to see if we qualify for coverage...they say we're in a "catastrophic area" so it may take some time. 2 softball games tonight.
